Applications :
- Due to its high heat resistance, Diaspore is used in the manufacturing of refractory bricks.
- It is used for kiln linings, furnace insulation, and fireproof coatings.
- Used as an additive in ceramics to improve thermal stability and durability.
- In the glass industry, it helps enhance strength and resistance to high temperatures.
- Used in chemical processing as a catalyst support and for adsorption applications, such as removing impurities in gas and liquid processing.
Calcined Diaspore
- Primarily used in the production of refractory bricks and materials because of its ability to withstand high temperatures and thermal shock.
- It has a high melting point (about 1,800°C), making it ideal for use in steel and iron manufacturing - lining for furnaces, kilns, steel mills, and other high-temperature industrial processes
- Used as a raw material in ceramics , glass industries and as an advanced material in aerospace engineering
- Due to high resistance to wear and high temperatures also makes it useful in the foundry industry, where it is used as a mold material, especially in the casting of metals that require high heat resistance.
